Here's an ability we haven't seen in a long time. Like the Fighter Death Match, the Smash Death Match puts the focus on defeating enemies instead of collecting coins. Something that everybody should know, is that you DON'T need to do a perfect run to get the platinum medal. On my highscore list for this stage, you can see that my second place score is 35810. That score, which I got because I got hit once and lost 100 points as well as the no-damage bonus, is good enough to get a platinum medal.
