It is not enough to understand your true nature conceptually on the mental level. This is something that can only really be known through direct experience and for this transcendence of the mind is required. This means that you must look for that which lies beyond words and thoughts and focus your attention single-pointedly upon the formless stillness out of which all forms appear. The gateway to this stillness is silence. Look for the spaces between words and the quiet which eternally underlies all noise. Once you sense it hold your attention there, and whenever you notice your attention is pulled back into forms bring it back to the formless stillness again and again until it becomes your effortlessly natural state of Being.
