Mondeo Mk3 ST220 Auto DRL Mod, this mod is so that your sidelights/low beams will power on and act like DRLs. So how this came about, I was asked by a friend if I could help sort this Mod out for him, he informed me its to power up either the sidelights or low beams when you turn on your car into the a/c positions. So here it is, i thought this would be one to share with you from start to finish. Simple little mod that can be done in a matter of minutes. I will be using this mod to power up my custom DRL fogs I made. The wiring is fairly simple and as follows: On the relay: Pin 85 will be the ground (black wire) Pin 30 will be the power (12v) (red wire) Pin 87 will be the Accessory feed (yellow wire to power up sidelights/low beams) Pin 86 will be the what I call the trigger wire (blue wire) On the headlight switch: Pin 10 is ground Pin 11 is 12v power Pin 13 is the sidelights Pin 4 is for sidelights and low beams (in case you want to wire this way) Pin 8 is for the trigger wire. (you could how ever use the ac wire that runs from the ignition switch so the sidelights/low beams turn on in both ac1 and ac2) Soldering is the best option but scotch locks can be used.
