Mass Effect 2 - 'Suicide Mission' Acoustic Cover

The mission to end all missions (assuming you do it wrong anyway). The three of us are all big Mass Effect fans, and the recent remaster in the form of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition had us all pretty hyped, so we put together a cover of the theme for one of the most tense, epic and (potentially) emotional missions in gaming, 'Suicide Mission' from Mass Effect 2. So strap yourselves in and say goodbye to your favourite squad mates as we see how bad this gets! Oh and enjoy the cover or something I guess. A note from the arranger: Orchestral arrangements are always a challenge, but this one was actually surprisingly simple comparatively! The biggest arranging decision I made was ringing out the ostinato lines using open strings to make them have a washier, brighter sound, given we don't have the benefit of synths to create the sounds we want. Guitar 3 was probably the most challenging here. It had to cover the overall chords to create drive, while also tackling the bass line which was rarely as simple as root notes and inversions, sometimes even doubling the melody, and then later it had to handle a countermelody as well!
