YT IZZO Enduro?

YT IZZO, one of the most beautiful mountain bikes out there, while I was looking for something in between my 170mm travel Enduro bike, and my XC bike, here comes the YT sale, after pouring over reviews and pretty much anything about the Izzo I could find, I think this is the perfect (I wish it was slacker) bike, runner up was the Canyon Spectral 125 but it weighs almost as much as my enduro bike. I keep wishy washing back and forth and wait too long and the core 4 izzo sells out :-( still kicking myself over that, so I order the core 3 before it’s sold out also. It arrives and is such a beautiful bike, get it together, set up the suspension and take it up our local riding trails. (Southern Calif. rutted and loose) First impressions are it climbs nice, comfortable, tires sucked (out trails are steep and the Forcasters just don’t have enough braking) the fork was nice but seemed like I was using a lot of the travel quickly, this sent me down the rabbit hole of overforking, turns out people have put 140s and 150s on their Izzo’s, sweet more travel and slacker front end! Count me in! I found a Fox 36 Rhythm take off fork for a bargain and install it, looks sooooooo sweet! Take it out for another ride and, now we’re talking, more stable on the descents and plenty of travel, I now have a total of 4 volume spacers in it and it feels real good. Next, tires, I copied the same tires my Enduro bike has, Maxxis, Assegai 2.50 front and minion 2.40 rear, I love those tires, last was a 203mm rear rotor I added, the 180 was over heating on the steep downhills. So with all those changes the IZZO went from 30.35 lbs to 32.37lbs sad, but worth it for me, so I’m loving how the bike rides, and it looks awesome! Now if I can stop missing the corners and make that darn turn at the bottom of that steep downhill I’ll be set!
