1st & foremost ... I genuinely love this bike & am sad to be passing it on! With the ever ascending expensive prices of Z1's, Z900's, Z1000 MKII & Z1-R's ... these are looking a very good buy right now & smart value for money, AND it's a shaft drive (Kawasaki's 1st attempt) so low maintenance. Just look at it - it's drop dead gorgeous, especially with recovered Giuliari seat & period exhaust!!!! Starts on the button, rides beautifully & pulls like a train (proper hooligans ride) & with the satin black 4 into 1 sports exhaust sounds as good as it looks (civilised as well with the baffle in)! I have a stack of paperwork/invoices with it & some very good spare parts (including very rare original airbox & a new set of handlebars & rear foot pegs) & I've just spent a week lightly restoring it. Not a quite a show pony or concours but a lovely genuine example in extremely tidy order throughout to be used as a rideable classic & is already registered as an historic vehicle so tax & MOT exempt (although has an MOT which runs out in March). New modern tyres, clutch & throttle cables & spark plugs (and I'm pretty sure oil & filter by last owner as he did quite a bit to it in his ownership recently including valve clearance & various gaskets). Absolute genuine classic to be appreciated for reasonable money ... and boy she GOES!
