Fly with us into Santa Maria Airport on Runway 30. You’ll find both transient parking and a great FBO here. This airport does get limited commercial airliner service so stay clear of the restricted ramp space in front of the terminal! TRANSIENT PARKING You’ll find transient parking east of the runway and south of the terminal (between taxwiways U and V) in front of the Radisson Hotel. There is access to the hotel from the transient parking making it a convenient place to spend the night if needed. Tie down chains are available. FBO Central Coast Jet Center has a modern and clean FBO. The staff here is incredibly nice and are very welcoming to GA pilots and guests. They’ll gladly share stories about military aircraft that have been serviced at the FBO – don’t be shy to ask for cool stories! They see quiet a few C-130s and F-35s here. Crew cars are available with a 2-hour limit – a good reason to choose the FBO over transient parking. Breakdown of fees for our Piper Arrow III for January 2024 Parking Fee 20.00 Avgas 84.28 (14.0 gallons @ $6.02 gallon) TOTAL 104.28 FUEL You’ll find self-serve and full-service fuel at this airport. Self-service fuel can be found north of the Tower near taxiways R and Q. Full-service fuel is provided by Central Coast Jet Center. Prices are reasonable for an FBO. CREW CAR / CAR RENTAL Crew cars are available through Central Coast Jet Center. There is a 2-hour limit - grab food nearby and visit the Santa Maria Museum of Flight. You can arrange for a car rental through the FBO. This is highly recommended if you’re planning on staying for the day and/or overnight. FOOD Pepper Garcias is a very popular restaurant at the airport. We recommend you grab the crew car and make your way into town. You’ll find lots more variety for food options. If you love aviation (and we’re assuming you do!) the Santa Maria Museum of Flight is a must. You’ll find a mix of movie memorabilia, WWII and space exploration exhibits and trivia.
