Hello Everyone, The 207 is operated by Abellio (Transport UK) using Enviro 400's, Enviro 400 Hybrids and Enviro 400 MMC's from Armstrong Way [GW] Garage. The route goes from Hayes By-Pass, Southall, Ealing Hospital, Hanwell, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway, Ealing Common, Acton High Street, Acton Vale, Shepherd's Bush & White City. The route is basically the SL8 but slow, the driver was slow, the experience was boring and it wasn't even great, apart from the weather. It isn't as bad as the 32. Overall, it was very much average; it literally goes in a straight line along the A4020. I do miss Metroline operating the route, it's understandable why they lost it and gave it away lol. The route used to be long that ran from Uxbridge to White City, but then on the 9th April 2005, the route was split into two sections: The section between Hayes-by-Pass and Shepherd's Bush Green retained the number 207 and was converted to single deck artic operation using Mercedes-Benz O530G's and the section between Uxbridge and Acton High Street was renumbered to 427, which TFL cut back to Southall stupidly last year. Ironically, TFL want to also withdraw the 207 between Shepherds Bush and White City - they're just making it harder to travel!!! Transport for London were proposing to build the West London Tram between Shepherd's Bush and Uxbridge, running along Uxbridge Road. The tram would have replaced the current routes 207, 427 and 607 (SL8 now). Transport for London claimed that trams would carry more passengers and be more reliable, but due to the Crossrail project going ahead the plans were scrapped.
