The updated MCU named deaths is finally here! In chronological order, this video includes every death of a named character in the main 616 universe and it's branch timelines as of February 2023.    • 🎖️ Free Epic Heroic Music (For Videos...   - Terminus by Scott Buckley You missed Kronan Marauder, the Churchkeeper, the Librarian etc. I decided to keep the rules fairly strict as to who was included in this video. To be included, a character needed to have a given name, callsign or nickname. Therefore, popular characters that have generic titles such as “the church keeper” or “Gamora’s mother didn’t make the cut. Why is Agents of SHIELD in this video? This video is not making a statement as to whether or not Agents of SHIELD is considered canon to 616 as the show was always promoted as canon and has never actually been officially removed from the canon. Even if it technically isn’t anymore, I still included it because it holds a special place in my heart and will always be canon to me. If you insist that it isn’t canon, (but it is), it can just be considered a branch as this video does include branches. Why is Runaways/Cloak and Dagger in this video? Similar to AOS, these shows were marketed as canon and haven’t ever been officially removed from the canon. Apart from the Runaways finale, they are mostly unproblematic in the timeline but again If you don’t consider them canon, just pretend those deaths are in branch timelines. Why is Helstrom in this video? Helstrom has really conflicting sources as to whether it is in the MCU or not and so I have just included a question mark next to the universe for the deaths to signify that they are probably in a branch timeline of the MCU. Where are the X-Men/Spider-verse/838 deaths I decided to only include 616 and 616 adjacent universes in this video and therefore none of the alternate universes that have no relation to the MCU have been included. 838 has also been left out for this reason. These other multiverses may get their own video and then I might do a mega video including everything sometime after Deadpool 3. Some more rules Characters that got Zombified are only included if their zombie-self is killed. Scott was able to be cured from the virus and therefore we know it doesn’t necessarily kill the host. Characters who are immediately revived via CPR or medical means shortly after their heart stops have not been included. Skrulls, LMDs & Chronicoms who impersonate another individual are included even if their real name is unknown. If this video ends up being too messy for some I will consider doing just a 616 named deaths video and/or a "Marvel Studios canon” video but as of 2024 this is the definitive list.
