Girnar - A Divine Experience गिरनार - एक अद्भुत अनुभूती

Girnar is located in Junagadh district in the state of Gujarat, India. The heighest peak point of Girnar measures about 3600 feet. Girnar mountain has a great spiritual history. Guru Dattatreya Bhagwan has done tapascharya here for 12000 long years, hence it is experienced to be a highly energised place. Girnar Parwat is the Akshay Niwas Sthan of Bhagwan Dattatreya. The Highest peak on this mountain is the Guru Gorakshanath Shikhar. There are total of 10,000 steps from Girnar Taleti to Gurushikhar. After the first 5000 steps is the temple of Amba Mata. Devotees take darshan here and move ahead on the yatra. The devotees coming via ropeway also, land near Amba Mata Temple. After about next 1000 more steps is the Guru Gorakshanath Shikhar - the highest peak point. After that comes the Gurushikhar - the place of Gurupaduka/Gurucharan. This space has tremendous level of positive energies which is experienced by the devotees. After taking the darshan here, Devotees visit the Kamandalu Tirth or Kamandalu Kunda to worship the Dhuni and have Prasad here. One can donate funds or foodgrains here at Kamandalu Kund as a part of Annadan Seva. Overall Girnar is considered as one of the toughest trek but with the blessings of Guru Maharaj, devotees are able to experience the divine sanctity and get the darshan of Gurupaduka. On the night of Pournima that is full moon day the guru charan darshan is open throughout the night. It is the supreme power who completely guides us knowingly or unknowingly at this place. One should take this divine experience atleast once in a lifetime.
