COMMISSIONING CEREMONY THE 2nd PHASE OF THE TEMA PORT EXPANSION PROJECT BY HE THE PRESIDENT OF GHANA

This is an extraordinary event - the commencement of Phase 2 of the MPS Tema Port Expansion Project. The event has taken place on Wednesday, 15th November 2023, at the MPS Terminal 3 in the Port of Tema. This momentous occasion marks the introduction of an additional 15 newly acquired gantry cranes at Terminal 3, Port of Tema. These cranes represent a significant leap forward in expanding our capacity, ultimately enhancing our service delivery, and reinforcing the Port of Tema's stature as a premier Hub Port on the West Coast of Africa. In addition to the crane inauguration, we also His Excellency the President of Ghana laid the cornerstone, symbolizing the initiation of civil works for Phase 2 of the Tema Port expansion project to construct and additional 270,000 square meters of container yard in addition to the existing 1 million square meters.
