We left Pune @at 6:30 am and visited these 3 locations and reached Pune at around 9 pm. 1) Lohgad Fort - Lohagad (iron fort) is one of the many hill forts of Maharashtra state in India. Situated close to the hill station Lonavala and 52 km (32 mi) northwest of Pune, Lohagad rises to an elevation of 1,033 m (3,389 ft) above sea level. The fort is connected to the neighboring Visapur fort by a small range. The fort was under the Maratha empire for the majority of the time, with a short period of 5 years under the Mughal empire. Situated at a distance of approx 55 kms from Pune and 120 kms from Mumbai. Among Ganesha temples, Ballaleshwar is the only incarnation of Ganesha that is known by his devotee's name. It is located in the village of Pali which is at a distance of 58 km from Karjat in the Raigad district. It is situated between fort Sarasgad and the river Amba. Situated at a distance of 120 kms from Pune in Raigad District of Maharashtra. Darshan takes around 30 mins here. It is located in Mhad village situated in Khalapur taluka near Karjat and Khopoli of Raigad District, Maharashtra, India. The temple was built (restored) by Peshwa General Ramji Mahadev Biwalkar in 1725AD. Comes in Pune District approx 100 kms from Pune.
