This video was filmed during our visit to meet with Ustad Salman from Ruhama al-Fajr Pesantren. We discovered more about his role at the school and their efforts to generate income through small agricultural ventures. This helps sustain the school, providing free meals for the children while they study Islam, memorize the Quran, learn Shafii fiqh, Seerah, Aqidah, Tafsir, and gain valuable farming skills. I decided to film the 2023 vlogs about my trip to Indonesia in August 2023. I travelled there attend the official opening of Nurul Quran, a special school for orphaned girls. It took us four years to raise enough money for this project.
