Cijin Island...Catching the ferry from Kaohsiung to this fun little island !!! We spend a fantastic day in Taiwan exploring Kaohsiung`s Pier 2 Art installations before heading over on the ferry to check out the little Island of Cijin. Pier 2 was full of quirky art displays and a really interesting area in Kaohsiung ..from giant devil dogs to impossibly balanced crates it was a great area to explore...it really is a must visit in Taiwan! You also get fantastic views of 85 Sky tower whilst at pier 2 !! We then find our way to the ferry for a short trip over to the fun island of Cijin. We hire a electric buggy which is amazing fun in Taiwan and start to explore the Island of Cijin. We start at Kaohsiung Light house then move on to Cijin tunnel of stars..a brilliant tunnel art installation. We stop at the famous sunset beach bar for a beer before heading on to see the Rainbow church srt display..a great location for photos !! We walk through Cijins street food market and stumble across a beautiful little temple on Cijin Island.
