My Garden Tour 26th May '24.

A quick trip around the garden. The forecast for he next few days isn't good and it was nice and sunny today, a bit too windy maybe. Some of the roses are looking nice at the moment. 'Soulgirlktf' mentioned in her last video that she had mainly pink roses in her garden. That's me too, I love pink roses, and others too of course. I did mention that Pink goes with just about everything, inside and out - maybe not orange. I does remind me of another something that goes with everything story. Back in April 1964, I remember it well, the B.B.C. were launching B.B.C. 2. Yes, it's now 50 years old. No, it's 60 years old. Anyway, the B.B.C had a Mascot to advertise the new Channel and it was a mother Kangaroo called 'Hullabaloo' and they ran a National competition to name the Joey which was B.B.C. 2. The winner was, 'Custard' because apparently custard goes with everything - a bit like pink. We then had 'Hullabaloo and Custard'. Just a bit of useless information that you might not have heard about or remembered. I guess most reading this rubbish will be too young to remember. There will be a couple of people reading this who'll be saying, 'Oh no, not again!' Cheers!
