Hustle culture often leads to burnout, stress, and being overwhelmed, which is why I prefer to live a more simple life with less. In this video I give "8 Reasons Why I Live A Simple Life And Avoid Hustle Culture." 1. I Don't Want Adulthood To Suck Adulthood consists of work, money, and responsibilities, which are not fun tasks. Due to all of these tasks, many people give up and and just say "adulthood sucks." I believe in living a simple life with less, so I have more control over my adult life and can enjoy it more. 2. Most Of Life Is Boring (and I accept that) Despite how life is portrayed on social media, the average day is pretty boring. Most of life consists of doing daily tasks like working or doing chores, and that is what life is. I believe many people chase hustle culture to make life more exciting, but it leads to burnout and stress. I accept that most of life is boring and try to make the most out of simplicity. 3. It's Impossible To Win The Game Of Money There's no limit to how much money and power you can have in this world; however, that doesn't stop billionaires from making more money. Hustle culture is a quest for money and power, but this quest is never ending. I focus on money to use it as a tool to live life on my terms. 4. Enough Is A Great Feeling You will never have enough until you define enough. In order to have enough you need to define it in every area of your life. I live a simple life of "enough" and doing so allows me to appreciate what I have. 5. The Point Of Life Isn't To Get To The End We spend so much time in life focusing on certain milestones -- like retirement; however, this makes people not enjoy the present. The point of life is to live, so I choose to live a simple life in the present. 6. Time Can Be Controlled (to and extent) The speed of time moves depending on how you are living your life. In my experience, when I am doing things I enjoy, time slows down, but when I am doing things I don't enjoy, time speeds up. I prefer to live a simple life that allows me to live on my terms to be able to have more control over my time. 7. Nobody Knows What They're Doing In the past few years, I have learned that no one in this world knows what they are doing. Oftentimes, you see people who portray themselves as they know what they are doing; however, they are most likely trying to sell something. I prefer to live a simple life because I know that nobody else knows what they're doing. 8. I'm Going To Live Life How I Want To The world is going to judge you no matter how you live your life, so live life how you want to live it. For me, that means living a simple life focusing more on the present.
