Kentang Ball Soup

Kentang ball soup may not be common to many but this is a one-bowl wonder dish if you like to have a different variety of Mee Soto. I remembered having this back in Singapore, however, this dish is not commonly found. I won't lie that it does take some effort to make the potato ball but it is absolutely worth it. I love especially when you break the ball and some of the potato dissolves into the soup. Kentang ball is similar to begedil (potato cutlet) except it's a bigger than the normal oblate shaped begedil. The preparations are similar, however, the potatoes and minced beef are not mixed during the preparation process. The potatoes are rolled into a ball and minced beef is inserted in the middle of the potato ball. The best way is to fry the ball and you don't need to fry it for too long.
