Today I started a 50 hour bush pilot program. I am hoping to complete it in 4 weeks. This is a Vlog of my float flying training and experience at Fort Langley Air in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia near Vancouver Canada. To become a float pilot in Canada, you must meet certain requirements and follow a specific training process. Here are the steps you can take to become a float pilot: Meet the basic requirements: To be eligible for float pilot training in Canada, you must be at least 17 years of age and hold a valid Category 1 or 3 medical certificate. You must also have a minimum of 15 hours of flight time as a pilot-in-command (PIC) of an airplane.
