Aston Martin DBR9 - LOUD V12 GT1 Legend - Epic Sound!

Probably the car that was highest on my wishlist before I got to see it earlier this year. Ever since I first saw it on Top Gear as a kid I've been fascinated by this endurance/ GT1 legend and I've always considered it the best looking race car of its era. In terms of sound it's also right up there amongst the best sounding GT-cars in existence. With only 16 of them ever built I had to wait a little over 10 years to finally see not one - but two, during the Spa Classic 2022. The incredible soundtrack is owed to the rather capable 6L V12 producing around 630 horsepower. If it wasn't for the air restrictors - needed to comply with class regulations - this figure would be around 760 horsepower. The DBR9 goes from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, and 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h) in 6.4 seconds. This was not only impressive 15 years ago but even by todays standards.
