This video is my entry to the Jared Dines HUGE (multi-instrumental) contest. I do have the original audio stems and video clips if needed. I had a lot of fun designing my own drum track to this sick metal song. I tried not to overplay the rest of the instruments, while still making interesting, creative, and original grooves and fills. I'm pretty damn happy with the recording and am really excited to see the results of the contest. Doing a quick YouTube search showed me some really great drum submissions, and I'm sure Jared will have a tough time picking the winner. I tried to match the intro riff with my high hat accents and think that part turned out well. I essentially made my own double bass grooves, which I think it suit the song, as well as add to its intensity. I kept the fills relatively simple because I think the song speaks for itself. If you haven't seen any of Jared's videos, I would strongly recommend binging his content. He makes funny musical type videos and if you enjoyed this song, you'd probably enjoy his videos and music. Great musician, and great YouTuber. Audio recorded using my Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and edited on Garageband. Video captured using 2 different camera angles and edited on iMovie.
