Those cheap plates rattle and feel terrible on the shins for any distance/commuting skating. The plates are fine for people just learning. I usually don’t recommend beginner skates because after the first three months in them, you grow out of them and need something that doesn’t restrict your movement. But I would definitely buy these skates. I can dance in them comfortably yet feel supported while bombing a hill.
