Hike of housing prices by 3.1% in Tehran City | Iran news | NewsRme

Compared to the previous month, there has been an increase of 3.1% in the average housing price in Tehran City during the fifth calender month of Mordad of Iran, that ended on August 22, as per the reports of CBI, Central Bank of Iran. As per the statistics shown in the CBI data, compared to the mentioned month in the previous year, there has been a 34% increase in the average price for one square meter of a residential unit in the capital city of Tehran during the same month this year, as reported on Sunday by the IRIB. Since the starting of the current fiscal year from March 21, the growth for housing prices in the capital city regarding the year-on-year trend has been going downward despite the month-on- month increment. This is due to the fact that the prices has seen increment of 91.7 percent, 69.7 percent, 56.6 percent, and 43.7 percent respectively in the first, second, third, and fourth months of the Iranian calender in comparison to the same months of last year.
