Watch How to make #Pesarattu Recipe Exclusive on #TeluguRuchi Pesarattu is one of the most commonly eaten breakfasts in Andhra Pradesh; these are made with whole moong dal called as pesalu in Telugu. It is often served with ginger chutney and upma. Pesarattu is not only easy to prepare but also very nutritious as we are using green gram to make this dosa. Making a Pesarattu that is crispy, thin and tasty is something which comes out of practice. It is not difficult but there are few tips to follow to make it right. Ingredients [for 2-3 persons] 1.Green moong dal - 100g 2.Rice - 10g Water as required 3.Salt 4.Green chillies - 4 no's 5.Ginger 6.Turmeric a pinch 7.Onion chopped 8.Coriander chopped 9.Cumin 10.Oil as required Method:- 1.In a bowl add green moong dal, water, rice and soak for 2-3 hours and strain the water and add green chillies, ginger, turmeric and grind into a smooth paste and add salt to taste. 2.Now in another bowl add onions, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander and mix them and keep a side . 3.On a hot tawa sprinkle water and wipe, pour the batter and spread very thin and drizzle some oil on top and top it up with the onion mixture, ghee, cook till crisp 4.Enjoy with ginger chutney, peanut chutney.
