Fire Drill Song for School | It's a Fire Drill | Social Story | Learning Song for Children

Learn about fire drills at school! "It's a Fire Drill" is a transition song that uses a social story to teach about what happens during a fire drill and prepare students for the experience. This interactive social story walks children through the steps of a fire drill. The social story song includes hearing the alarm, walking quietly in the hallway, waiting outside and then coming back to class. LYRICS What’s that sound? It’s really loud It sounds like this! I wont be scared I will not cry It’s a fire drill! I got this! It’s a fire drill It’s how we stay safe It’s a little loud right now But that's okay! It’s okay to cover my ears As long as I don’t cry Line up quiet and we wait Our teacher leads the line It’s a fire drill It’s how we stay safe It’s a little loud right now But that's okay! We’re super dooper quiet As we walk in the hall I am such a brave student! I’m standing nice and tall! It’s a fire drill It’s how we stay safe It’s a little loud right now But that's okay! Wait outside, sound shuts off The drill is almost done Back in class and I think Fire drills aren’t scary ... they’re fun! It’s a fire drill It’s how we stay safe It’s all over, we’re done now Enjoy your day!
