The STONE FOREST..One of the most Extreme Adventure attractions in Laos.. But in the rainy season the road and surrounding landscape take on a WHOLE NEW MEANING OF EXTREME! EXTREME LAOS Land Slides & Roadside Waterfalls | Big Loop Tour E2 We leave Pak Kading and turn off road 13 heading east with Lak Sao as todays final destination. Along this road you will climb through some of the most spectacular limestone karst mountains, and at the very top is The Rock View Point. An incredible lookout over a sea of Stone Forests. Here you can participate in many extreme activities.. Ab sailing, Zip lining, rope and net walks etc all across the top of these razor sharp rock formations. Even in this extreme weather The Rock View Point is still open with many people here. But it is the drive down the other side of the mountain that I found most challenging and enjoyable. At this time of year there are endless roadside waterfalls just appearing everywhere out of the mountainside. Many of these falls create landslides and rock slips which make it a fulltime job for excavators to keep the road open during the wet season. Enjoy this drive through some of the most spectacular scenery in this part of Laos.. I did!
