Meditation Mending 2 - Freestyle Embroidery

I started mending some cushions in the last video, and there was more work to do than expected, but it gave me an opportunity to have fun with freestyle embroidery. This is a #slowstitch favourite technique of mine which I'd like to share with you, that involves patching and embroidering at the same time. I'm showing you four stitches that I use again and again, just 'cos they are fun as well as looking good. I've added Chapters to where the different stitches start, and I also show you where I got my inspiration from for these techniques, Nancy Nicholson's fabulous and beginner-friendly embroidery book, "Modern Folk Embroidery" and a kit I picked up at a bargain price at Aldi supermarket!
