Finally the wait is over Presenting to you our second video made from bottom of our hearts, "ನಮ್ಮ ಭಟ್ಕಳ" Bhatkal, is a small town situated on the shores of Arabian sea and nurtured by Western Ghats. It falls under the constituency of Uttara Kannada District of the Indian state of Karnataka. Bhatkal lies on National Highway 66, which runs between Mumbai and Kanyakumari, and has one of the major railway stations along the Konkan Railway line, which runs between Mumbai and Mangalore. A breed of Mogra flower which is native to the place known as "Bhatkal Mallige" is very famous for its fragrance. The style of flower weaving is also unique and a large amount of produce is exported to other states and also to gulf countries!! The Biryani here is so famous that restaurants in some of the major cities have "Bhatkal Biryani" in their menu card!! This place is sometimes referred to as "Mini Dubai" due to good trade relations with Gulf countries. It is sincere effort by team VAF to highlight the beauty of Bhatkal and to showcase that it is not a place what people assume it to be and to put to rest all the conspiracy theories. Bhatkal is a place where people from all religion live-eat-sleep in peace and we would like to take this oppurtunity to invite you to Bhatkal so that you can find for yourself the love and warmness that people have here towards each other..!
