Gary & Western Dune Park Branch Over Chase Street-Budd-Bucko

August 23rd, 2017 about 7am I ventured to the G&W (IHB/EJ&E/CONRAIL) Dune Park Branch bridge over Chase Street to document the current state of the bridge. There is a trend of Norfolk Southern and CSX dismantling the Dune Park Branch bridges piece by piece, with two bridges being removed in two years. I want to document as many as I can before these historic bridges are gone forever. Also, I walked the G&W ROW via Bucko Construction Co.'s former HQ at 9th & Chase to the G&W's Budd Plant entrance. I finish up at 9th & Clark Road. I brought my tripod with me (whoop whoop) so a good portion of the video is stabilized. I accomplished this by using the shotgun mic mount from my stolen camera to hold my cell phone. Amazed that it even worked, and doubt if I would have been able to get the footage I did without it. I hope that you all enjoy this video, and learn a little bit more about Gary's secretive railroad history. I will be updating this video with links as soon as I figure out how to do the shit.
