SOUNDBITE (German) Vox pop (name not given): "All those depending on petrol simply have to use it. Those who could change to trains might do that. Maybe this would be a measure to show people that there are other options than using the car." 5. Various of car being filled with petrol 6. SOUNDBITE (German) Vox pop, Norbert Ruge: "I am not really afraid, because Russia certainly has the same interest as we do to keep up with the trade. They make money out of it and we depend on the petrol, that's clear. This is not really fear, but it is unpleasant to depend on it." 7. Man filling car with petrol, pan to car 8. SOUNDBITE (German) Vox pop, Maria Henschel: "I think the oil is still stopped, it's still not flowing and probably they will raise the pressure. I think that petrol will become more expensive." 11. Wide exterior of Frankfurt Stock Exchange STORYLINE German consumers had mixed reactions on Tuesday to the recent trade row between Russia and Belarus that has disrupted Russian oil supplies to Germany and other European countries. In Frankfurt, some motorists were concerned over possible price rises. "I think the oil is still stopped, it's still not flowing and probably they will raise the pressure. I think that petrol will become more expensive," Maria Henschel told AP Television. One woman took a more positive stance, suggesting it may boost the use of public transport. "All those depending on petrol simply have to use it. Those who could change to trains might do that. Maybe this would be a measure to show people that there are other options than using the car," a local resident said. Belarus complained bitterly on Tuesday that Russia was digging in its heels over a trade row that has disrupted Russian oil supplies to Germany and much of Eastern Europe. Russia stopped pumping oil to Europe on Monday via the Druzhba, or Friendship, pipeline that crosses Belarus, accusing its neighbour of siphoning off oil. A delegation led by Belarusian Vice-Premier Andrei Kobyakov flew to Moscow on Tuesday to find a solution to the oil stoppage. President Vladimir Putin also ordered his Cabinet on Tuesday to consider a possible reduction in oil output.
