Keep aside. For sugar syrup mix sugar and 1/2 cup water and make 1/2 thread sugar syrup. Heat leftover 1/2 cup ghee in a pan. Now add besan + ghee mixture in sugar syrup, mix and cook on low flame, add 2 tbsp ghee and cook on low flame till ghee absorbs properly. Repeat this process till ghee finished completely. Now transfer this mixture in a 5 inch greased lined tray, tap gently and wait for 2-3 minutes, now cut in square pieces and keep aside for 30 -60 minutes, after it demould and enjoy homemade ghee mysore pak.
