When we bought it it was jammed, without keys, and had several missing parts. We managed to source the keys and most of the missing pieces, and fabricated the parts we couldn't find. The inner workings are amazingly intricate, and there are many features beyond the obvious function of a cash register. In working order for all intents and purposes, but not much use unless you still work in shillings and pence! An absolutely stunning piece regardless, would look great in a bar or in the right kind of shop.
