EKITAGURIRO by Ndere Troupe (Western Uganda)
Ekitaguriro is a traditional dance from South Western Ugandan from a region known as Nkore. It is a celebratory dance performed by both men and women. It starts with "OKWEVUGA", a style of poetry done by men from this region as a way of narrating all their life's achievements and then followed by dancing. Ndere Troupe brings you authentic and well developed movements, choreography and costumes to showcase our beautiful Ugandan Culture.
