Anything that is more than 0.5 mm thick are called sheets. Why is sheet metal important? Sheet metal covers a large area of your day to day uses. Also it is economically durable and recyclable. What are the general application of Sheet metals? Automobile , Structurals, Computer TC and electrical cabinets, Kitchen items utensils , Fan etc. What are the widely used materials for sheet metal? Most common materials we use are Mild steel , Stainless Steel And aluminum. Sometimes we also use brass and copper . They are mainly used in decorative places.
