How to use Cross Stitch or Embroidery in UV Resin (I made a needle minder)

Today I’m taking a small cross-stitched piece and turning it into a needle minder. First I will coat the piece in decoupage to seal it, I’ll trim it to fit in my silicon mold, then I will pour uv resin over it. It only takes a few minutes to cure under a UV lamp (these are sometimes marketed for gel manicures). After the piece is cured you will attach a magnet to the back. The piece is ready to use as a needle minder as soon as the glue is dry. If you'd like to see more pictures of the finished needle minder, I put a few in this blog post: https://littlestabstudios.com/how-to-... I also included a side by side of the piece pre-resin and post so it's easy to see how the resin affected the cross stitch. If you live in the US, you might like this UV Resin (it’s a maker from Japan that I have seen but have not tried before): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FPR3RNQ/... And this looks like a popular UV Led light: https://www.amazon.com/SUNUV-Curing-F... Please note I have not used those specific products and I haven’t been paid to promote them, I just thought they looked pretty good. Make sure if you are using an LED UV light that the UV resin will cure in LED lights, some work better with LED than others.
