On 11 August 2023 I experienced a 'wet knuckle ride' with Jet Adventures, a family-run business operating from my home town of Lowestoft in Suffolk, England. With their water jet-driven boat, Shearwater, they run harbour tours and coastal sightseeing trips, but the jewel in their crown is the 90-minute seal watching trips to Scroby Sands, a sand-bank situated just off the Norfolk coast near Great Yarmouth. Video features some footage of the seals as well as highlights from the high speed journey there and back. This is highly recommended if you live locally or are visiting the area.
