European Flags in 56,000 Dominoes

After over six months of work, I built this compilation of domino flags. I tried to put in as much variety as possible, and make it as much a work of domino art as a work of vexillological art. Choosing which European flags to include was not straightforward. There are various definitions of what constitutes Europe, and there are various states that have limited recognition that I could choose to include. My initial aim was to be as broad and inclusive as possible, but I want to avoid international politics, hence do not claim that any of the states included are or are not legitimate countries. As I reached the end of construction I was concerned about the length of the video, and I was anxious to finally complete the project. So I made the decision to not include flags for Abkhazia, Artsakh, and South Ossetia. I plan to eventually build flags for these, maybe in a flags of Asia video. I accidentally labeled Russia as Moscow in the original upload. I couldn’t let that stay, so I deleted and re-uploaded.
