From the leaky chimney, moldy sheetrock and plaster, to the back wall practically falling off the house. From uneven floors covered in asbestos tiles, to the ceiling literally raining down vermiculite....and lets not forget those RUSTY metal cabinets from the 1950's! This kitchen has over 100 years of neglect, covering up and hiding big problems, and terrible workmanship. Not a surface has gone untouched in this kitchen and it is our biggest room transformation yet! This room alone has been the most challenging of the entire house. It has tested us, pushed us to our limits, and seen more blood, sweat and tears than any other room we've tackled. But with hard work, perseverance, and a stubborn finlander not willing to give up, we have overcome all the challenges, problems and setbacks. We are so excited to have yet another completed room in this project house and we cant wait for you to see it!
