Saving My Dying Plants!! 🍂 (hopefully😅)

hey hey friends!! if the title didn't give it away, i am in a bit of a last ditch effort to save some plants who are one leaf out of the grave! 💀 amidst my busy life the last few months, i have really slacked off as a plant parent... which happens to us all so i'm not going to give myself too hard of a time about it. basically i have a fiddle leaf fig that i had to chop in half in order to move it from my old apartment into the new; so, i am attempting to save that top half as best i can. in addition to that i have a monstera and an arabica coffee plant who i let get to dry. the former got top heavy and fell to its doom, the latter simply turned into potato chips. here are my mistakes you can learn from to not find yourself in this situation: 1) prune your big plant babies more frequently and don't let them get 7 feet tall if you know you're moving soon 2) immediately dip fiddle leaf propagations in root powder and then into appropriately sized water containers. (it helps if your propagation isn't 4 feet long because the energy it takes to keep that alive takes away from the cutting's ability to grow a new root system) 3) upgrade your plant's pot size if it starts to get too big, and definitely don't put it on elevated surfaces if it's top heavy 4) finally, have a friend come over and water your super thirsty plants if you know you'll be away significantly longer than the watering interval that's all folks! look out for an update video to see how these plants are doing (i promise it will be shorter than this one, i was just feeling exceptionally long winded while filming). until then, take care 🤗
