🔵 Letter to a friend - CAE Writing - Informal Letter - Cambridge Advanced Exam

Letter to a friend - CAE Writing - Informal Letter - Cambridge Advanced Exam By StorkSea    / @storksea4771   You receive this letter from a friend who is planning to study abroad: I’m not sure about going to study abroad anymore. How will I meet people and find somewhere to live? And I’m worried I won't understand my lessons. Maybe it’s not the right thing for me after all! You decide to write to your friend giving your opinion and offering advice. Write your letter. Hi Claudio, It was so good to hear from you! AT MY END, all’s well, great actually. Sorry, I haven’t written for ages, you know I HAVE THE GRATEST RESPECT FOR you, BUT it's just that I’ve been up to my eyes studying Finance. So, are you thinking of studying abroad? That’s soundS LIKE A FANTASTIC IDEA to me mate! I reckon it’s great you are finally getting a chance to get out of your comfort zone! Well, I really think you ought to look for people online who are in the same situation. I’m talking about websites that share information about apartments, cute places to visit and pubs, where you can meet COOL people and make friends. And another thing, I remember you were a big fan of national parks and the UK has LOADS of them. Maybe you should think about studying there, just ask ABOUT rental prices and THEN think about it. In my view they are so expensive, nowadays, but you COULD share a room, I guess. If I were you, I wouldn’t be so worried about the lessons, to be honest. You can work on it before going overseas. What I am saying is that you can spend some time improving your listening, writing and speaking skills AND LIKE THIS you will feel more confident and less worried about understanding. It’s a good idea, right? Buddy, the courses will take time and effort, but they will be worth it, for sure. I hope some of my suggestions will turn out to be useful for you. If you ever happen to be in town, pop in for a chat. All the best, StorkSea.   / iswearenglish   http://www.iswearenglish.com/   / iswearenglish     / iswearenglish
