Welcome to Quick & Dirty Tips for the easy way to raise your SAT English score! As many of you have been asking, here is part one of the Cross Text Question of the Digital SAT! In this video, we tackle the most common pattern of the Cross Text, which is the Cross Text Response Question. With this question, we are asked what would the author of Passage 2 say about Passage 1. From what SAT has done so far, the default answer to this question is that the second text DISAGREES with something from the first text. So what do they disagree about? Pay closer attention to the conclusion of the texts. And then, recognize that it is a discovery type of question, and identify what is the issue the second person have with the discovery mentioned in the first text? To put more simply: Passage 1 thinks ____, but Passage 2 thinks that is not quite right. For more details, and clarification, please watch the whole video. I truly believe it will be helpful.
