How FM21 Forces You to Spend Money

In case you hadn’t noticed, Football Manager 2021 is coming out in a few weeks. As the new features keep dropping, I keep breaking them down, and well, there was a pretty big FM revelation about club visions this paste feature set. The board in FM21 can FORCE you to SPEND MONEY. Like, all of it in the transfer budget. While realistic, if you can get fired for it (which apparently you can) this could be as frustrating as having to sign a bunch of random nationality players for your Football Manager side cough Wolves *cough*. This is what I will call the Manchester City experience. Where Football Manager takes the pressure to spend money that every big club feels and turns it into a palatable part of FM21 for the first time in the series’ history. Club vision was a smart way to make it happen, and with the revamping of the interactions around the ‘manager’ in FM it seems right that social media pressure will come along with club culture and vision in the future. I look forward to this new direction for FM and hopefully, the new features keep pushing the envelope!
