In this episode of RealReefingTV we discuss my calcium reactor setup, Masterflex pump and how to get a consistent drip rate and PH with the help of the right equipment. The calcium reactor is one of the coolest pieces of equipment on our tanks in my opinion. It melts the dead coral skeletons inside down by lowering the ph inside the reactor with CO2 and drips the calcium and alkalinity rich water back in your sump. My calcium reactor set up is the Korallin C3002 with the Carbondoser electronic solenoid and #20 CO2 tank with the MasterFlex Peristaltic pump powering it and keeping the drip just right!
