Seven Ways to Make Woods Coffee For Camping or Backpacking

It seemed about time that I put something up involving most of the ways I make coffee when I'm out canoe tripping or hiking. The fall leaves in my back yard seemed to be a great backdrop for this type of video but also made it easier to quickly get through making roughly 18 cups of coffee. I did have a few cups as I went along, but ended up having to pour a bunch of it out :( These are my top 7 methods and I've done all of them on numerous occasions. I go through a few pros, cons, likes and dislikes of each. Overall, I've settled on a pour over method, especially when I'm brewing up just for myself or if weight and space are a constraint. Here are the 7 methods in the order of the video: 1. Percolator. 9 cup Eurolux, ordered on Amazon(797g). 2. Moka Pot. 6 cup, won it so have no real info, I assume most are the same(603g). 3. Jet Boil with French Press kit, 3-4 cup. (419g plus fuel). 4. Cowboy Coffee 1-?cups(150g?). 5. AeroPress 4 cups(178g). 6. Starbucks Via 1 cup(5g). 7. Pour Over- Snowpeak folding filter 1-5 cups(143g filter basket, 264g for boil kit excld fuel). Brew times vary with all seven, but they all relate to how fast you can boil a cup of water. I like all seven of these methods, if weight isn't an issue, I'd usually pick the Percolator. If I could only pick one, then I'd go for the pour over.
