I heard this and had to do it… I had a lot of fun designing what I thought the gods would look like… SO WHO ELSE IS READY FOR THE VENGEANCE SAGA?! Original song by: ‪@JayHerrans‬ And I hope this reaches the right people 🤙🏽 My area to geek out… this is very unnecessary but I want to yap so :) First thing I wanna talk about was Athena’s color pallatte compared to Ares… Though Ares is known as more fiery and Athena is more calm and calculated, I thought giving Ares the distinct blue to set him apart from the rest of the gods was necessary… Ares is violent but the color blue is also unnatural, blue is commonly used to show poison and danger…plus I thought it’d make my design more distinct…. Second: when I first heard the song, more specifically Hera’s part, I felt very bad for her, like “never once has he cheated on his wife” this is Hera’s priority, fidelity and a healthy marriage is literally her job… and it’s the one thing she doesn’t have with Zeus… so in my head, Hera releases Ody because he’s the example the Greeks should follow… even when her own husband isn’t… Third: Why does Athena’s color pallatte change? Because gold is usually big and eye catching… while silver is much more subtle… so I feel that when she’s humbling herself down, she uses a metal that shows it… “I’m begging… I’m bellow you, show mercy” and the blue is to match with Ody, just to show that she’s a supportive mentor Last: DID Y’ALL NOTICE ALL OF THEM HAD GREY EYES?? to set them apart from the mortals
