The Magic Speed 2 features the same foam that’s in the Novablast 3, but this shoe also has a composite plate. So is this shoe basically a plated novablast? Well, there’s good news and bad news. The bad news is that the Magic Speed 2 is not a Novablast Plus or Novablast Pro. The good news is that the Magic Speed 2 is a true training companion to the Metapseed Plus series. There’s a lot about this shoe that reminds me of the Metaspeed Edge Plus, but it’s got a bit more comfort and durability than that race shoe provides.
