How to tie two ropes together (with a Square knot, Sheet bend & Zeppelin bend)

As a kayaking instructor I created this series of videos on knots to introduce members of our club Sligo Kayak Club (Sligo, Ireland), and any anyone else who may be interested, to rope work. This short video will demonstrate three common methods for joining ropes together using what are called 'bends'. We will also very briefly discuss the merits of each method. The knots/bends covered in this video include: 1. Square (or Reef) Knot 2. Sheet Bend 3. Zeppelin Bend Another common method of joining ropes, the Fishermans knots, will be covered in a separate video. Any gauge of rope or cord will be sufficient for training purposes but it's best to use at least 2' (60cm) of length. For the sheet bend I'd suggest testing it with two very different gaues of rope. Feedback, comments, questions are all welcomed. Please excuse the quality of this one-take, recording!
