I walk around the Marlowes shopping centre and film the lifts. Some are in the process of being modernised. Originally had a Stentorgate voice unit, now ILE. Lift Information for 2nd set of lifts Company: AXIS elevators (generic) Type: traction Logic: Lester Controls Voice: Lester Controls Fixtures: Dewhurst US91-EN Capacity: 13persons/975kgs Floors served: S, A, C, E, G, I These were originally 90s generic ThyssenKrupp lifts with pre-doors. Replaced in late 2016 to late 2017. Lift Information for 3nd set of lifts Company: ThyssenKrupp (generic) Type: traction Logic: Thames Valley Controls Voice: Stentorgate Fixtures: Dewhurst US91-15 Capacity: 13persons/1000kgs Floors served: S, A, C, E, G These are the only set of lifts original to the Shopping centre. These have pre-doors. Lift Information for 4nd set of lifts Company: Nova Lifts (generic) Type: traction Logic: Lester Controls Voice: Lester Controls Fixtures: Dewhurst US91-15 Capacity: 13persons/1000kgs Floors served: S, T, M, B, D, F, H Work started in February 2018 by Nova Lifts to replace these lifts. After the left lift was put in, it had a loud nudge mode siren which also made the lift go out of service. People complained so the siren was removed. These often go out of service in busy times when people hold the doors open too long.
