Hiking the Ordesa Valley to Cola de Caballo waterfall

Our Hike in the Ordesa Valley to the Cola de Caballo waterfall was an inredible experience. It is a glacial valley situated in Aragon, the Spanish Pyrenees which forms part of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. It was first discovered in 1820, but not mapped in detail until approximately the 1920s. The valley is about 11k long. There are many stunning waterfalls along to route with the stunning Cola De Caballo at the far end of the valley. During the summer months parking is restricted so you will need to catch a bus from Torla, they run every 15 mins. It is a very efficient service. There is a restaurant and toilet facilities at the start of the hike. There are several routes but the main choice is whether to walk along the valley floor or a steep ascent to the right which we did. You need to be fit for the ascent, its up up up for a good hour! The route is very easy to follow but this is our route: Ordesa Valley is the most famous with cliffs rising over eight hundred metres on each side and Monte Perdido https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails... #Motorhome #TorlaOrdesa #Waterfalls
