Macleod's Farewell is a tune by the composer Donald Shaw who played with Capercaille. https://donaldshaw.net/ I first heard the tune played by Lunasa who had mistakenly called it the Wedding Reel, a name which has stuck. The second tune Blustery weather is one which I composed myself to test if it would work as a set of tunes, hence the mobile phone recording without accompanying instruments. If I can see it working I will notate it and share a link in the community section of this channel. I know the sound quality from a mobile phone is not always the best, but it certainly is a quick and easy way to share a tune set like these. I rather fancy making a decent recording of the two tunes with other instruments, but will see what the reaction is to this quick test video. Cheers and thank you for vsiting my channel.
