Starr settles Hope on a blanket in the park. She's preoccupied from her homework with thoughts of Cole. "Are you all right?" an unfamiliar boy asks and hands her a tissue. Starr claims her allergies are acting up. When James hears Hope is Starr's daughter he assumes she's stressed. Starr admits Hope's father isn't around right now and vents to the stranger. James explains he's in Llanview to visit someone in ICU. As they continue to talk about 'a girl' being thrown into the mix of Starr's problems Hannah spies from behind a tree. Hannah snaps a photo of them before James takes off. Starr tends to Hope who's crying for her daddy. Hannah follows James. In jail Cole tells Markko he's sorry about what happened with Langston and Ford. Cole admits he knew about Langston's affair. Markko blames himself for not seeing the signs. Cole would've lost it if he'd found Starr with another guy. "I did," Markko replies. "I've got to tell you... all of it." Markko admits he wanted Ford dead. As Markko continues to explain his parents appear with Tea. She explains Markko's arraignment. Markko's mother can't believe they think he killed someone. "I wouldn't," Markko says. "I didn't try to kill Ford. I'm innocent!" Cole looks suspicious
